The main focus of Marina Kröslin lies on quality and conservation of the environment. As a proof for our ongoing efforts we have been certified with the DIN ISO 9001 as well as the quality sign "Gelbe Welle" (yellow wave - a touristical system for aquatic sports in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania). But what we are most proud of is the certification with 5 stars awarded by the German Tourism Association and the National Union of Aquatic Sports. Marina Kröslin was one of the first two harbours along the coast of Germany receiving this exceptional award

It's a well-hidden secret that Marina Kröslin is a jewel of our region. But in August 2005 we received the highest award of the German Tourism Association in cooperation with the National Union of Aquatic Economies.

The concept was taken from the 5 stars which can be earned by hotels and guest-houses and which could be applied also to harbours since January 2005. After analyzing every single criterion thoroughly Marina Kröslin received the best assessment and is now the second harbour in Germany boasting 5 stars.

These "Blue stars" are contributing to the assurance of quality standards, to extend existing offers and to give the customer better opportunities for comparison of infrastructure and service offers.

The critria for the evaluation of marinas are subdivided into ten fields which are being checked extensively by independent experts from the International Marine Certification Institute (IMCI) in Brussels.

We are very proud of our 5 stars and the statement which is made by this award. Nevertheless we will not stop in our efforts to improve the infrastructure and service of our harbour to guarantee our visitors the best money can buy.

It's not always easy for a skipper to orientate on water. There are often several ports within reach but it's seldom visible if the skipper is welcome there and what comfort and service he can expect.

That's the reason why a standard touristic orientation system - called "Die Gelbe Welle" - was invented. With this guiding system one can get information about shopping facilities, restaurants and bars, sights, repairs, supply and disposal opportunities, WC, electricity and drinking water as well as playgrounds and other leisure activities.


The "Gelbe Welle" can be put up by companies, communities, clubs and private persons. Every aquatic tourist can tell right away: This is where I am welcome! 

We are happy to inform you that Marina Kröslin GmbH has received the certificate for quality management.

By achieving this certificate the entire team of Marina Kröslin gave proof for all criteria of the quality policy of the enterprise to be fulfilled in accordance with the ISO- norm 9001.

Among many other aspects this includes a customer-orientated style of working, to avoid all kinds of faults with the aim to achieve a high quality standard as well as a constant effort of improving the existing system.
